Depuis 1970 où il vendait ses dessins dans la "calle de los pintores" au rastro de Madrid , son oeuvre alors onirique , dans la veine de Delvaux , Magritte , Dali , s'est peu à peu transformée devenant plus réaliste .

« Certains croquis qui remplissent mes nombreux carnets se destinent un jour à devenir des tableaux. Il faut qu’ils en aient la force, la signification, la possibilité.

La création est un acte d’alchimiste, c’est surtout un acte de transformation. » Alain CANTILLON
